UK flights often land in Turkey at 2 AM. Here is how to handle the "Zombie Arrival" smoothly.

1. The Transfer Rule

AT 2 AM, you do not want to be haggling with a taxi driver or waiting for a shared bus to fill up. Rule: Pre-book a private transfer. The driver waits with your name. You get in, you sleep. It is worth every penny.

2. Hotel Check-in

Email your hotel 2 days before saying: "Landing at 2 AM, arriving hotel approx 3:30 AM." Most receptions are 24/7, but smaller apartments might lock the door. Get the door code or night porter's number.

3. Late Night Food

You will be hungry. Resorts often have "Night Soup" (midnight to 1 AM) or a mini-buffet. If self-catering, pack biscuits or crisps in your suitcase. Turkish airports have food, but it is expensive.
